Fish n Fizz
Thanks to everyone who joined us for Fish n Fizz. The Village Hall looked great and it was lovely to see everyone mingling as they 'fished for a match'! It wouldn't have happened without the help of volunteers who made decorations, set up, came up with games, served food, staffed the bar and stayed to clear up.
December 2025
Christmas Cheese & Wine and New Year's Eve Party
Naunton Village Hall was the setting for a couple of festive events. The Cheese & Wine party at the beginning of December began the Christmas festivities and the biennial Naunton New Year's Eve Party meant that 2026 was seen in with style.

Bonfire & Fireworks
It is an awful lot of work but, when friends, neighbours and visitors show up to enjoy the food and fireworks you know it's time well spent. Massive thanks to everyone who volunteered to make it possible - it takes a village...

Rain or Shine - The Rivals
Rain or Shine Theatre Company provided another fabulous afternoon of fun outdoor theatre in blazing sunshine beside Naunton Dovecote. The river provided perfect picnic spots and a place to cool down during the interval! The audience raised £147 for the North Cotswold Foodbank - thank you.

Festa Italiana
Napoli - Naunton style! Ever popular Italian dishes, homemade lasagne and tiramisu, were enjoyed by all at this informal community event. All-in-all it was a fabulous and inclusive get-together, at the Village Hall, with family, friends and neighbours.
April 2025
Friday Night Lounge
During the winter months on occasional Fridays, a 'Friday Lounge' event is held in the Village Hall's cosy bar. It gives everyone the opportunity to meet with friends and neighbours over a drink. This popular event will be back again in the Autumn.

Midweek Magic
A
'Midweek Magic'
event was held in the Village Hall Lounge Bar. Three magicians showed their skills, one being Social Committee member, Richard Webber. We hope to repeat this event next year.
Progressive Supper
Every year a Progressive Supper is held in Naunton. A fun and popular evening, a great way to meet new neighbours and catch up with existing friends. This annual event alternates between late Winter and late Spring, with after supper drinks in the Village Hall.
Rain or Shine Theatre
Rain or Shine Theatre Company gave an hilarious performance of 'Murder Most Wilde' to a large audience.

Christmas Cheese & Wine
On 6th December the Village Hall held their annual Cheese & Wine evening. Over 50 attended, enjoying many varieties of cheese, pate, charcuterie, salads and pickles, along with the bar and raffle. The evening was topped off with entertainment from 'Phil Collins', aka Professor Collywobbles, with his unique Punch & Judy show.

Wreath Making
A fun and festive community afternoon well spent in Naunton Village Hall, making wreathes from locally gathered seasonal greenery and hedgerow forage. Novice and more experienced makers shared skills and enthusiasm under the guidance of Amanda, Nellie and Moira, whilst being nourished with mulled wine and warm mince pies. Everyone was delighted with their finished wreath!

Bonfire & Fireworks Night
A message from Naunton Social Committee and Village Hall Trustees:
A huge shout out to
all of the volunteers who helped organise, collected and built the bonfire, set up and let off the fireworks, put up the marquees, ran the electrics, baked the cakes, made the soup, shopped for the food, were BBQ chefs, served the customers and pitched up for the clear up! And a massive 'thank you' to everyone who attended. It was a great firework display.

Naunton Dovecote Trust, Talk and Auction with The Friday Lounge
A great evening, it saw the Naunton Dovecote Trust host a talk on 'Windrush Recovery - Love our Windrush' by Debbie Campbell of WASP (Windrush Against Sewage Pollution).
Following the talk, a successful auction of paintings of Naunton Dovecote took place helping to raise much needed funds for the Dovecote charity. The evening was topped off by drinks and delicious canapés in the Lounge Bar.
October 2024
Bangers & Bingo
A fun time was had by all who attended the Bangers & Mash evening. With delicious bangers and mash on offer, and the chance to get your eyes down and dabbers out, it proved to be an evening to remember.
