A message from Naunton Social Committee and Village Hall Trustees: A huge shout out to all of the volunteers who helped organise, collected and built the bonfire, set up and let off the fireworks, put up the marquees, ran the electrics, baked the cakes, made the soup, shopped for the food, were BBQ chefs, served the customers and pitched up for the clear up!
And a massive 'thank you'
to everyone who attended. It was a great firework display.
A great evening, it saw the Naunton Dovecote Trust host a talk on 'Windrush Recovery - Love our Windrush' by Debbie Campbell of WASP (Windrush Against Sewage Pollution). Following the talk, a successful auction of paintings of Naunton Dovecote took place helping to raise much needed funds for the Dovecote charity. The evening was topped off by drinks and delicious canapés in the Lounge Bar.
A fun time was had by all who attended the Bangers & Mash evening. With delicious bangers and mash on offer, and the chance to get your eyes down and dabbers out, it proved to be an evening to remember.
